The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is a non-profit organization that provides support and advocacy for disabled veterans in the United States. In New York State, the DAV has a strong presence, with numerous chapters and service officers located throughout the state. These service officers work tirelessly to assist disabled veterans and their families in accessing the benefits they are entitled to, including healthcare, disability compensation, and education benefits. 

The DAV also provides a variety of programs and services aimed at improving the quality of life for disabled veterans and their families, including transportation to medical appointments, support for caregivers, and assistance with adaptive sports programs.
